Fun and Informative
A classic comprehensive textbook on the subject of Orchestration written near the turn of the century yet still used today. Cecil Forsyth
engages and amuses, all the while filling you
in on the nuances of writing for each instrument, their quirks and strengths and ways
of working within and around them.
A fountain of knowledge on the sonic possibilities of the orchestra. And quite humorous.
